Coming soon to Frugal Fun for Boys: Lego Fun Fridays!
This will be a twice-a-month link-up for kid-generated Lego ideas. (Wow, I think that was a record for hyphenated words in one sentence! Ha!) We’ll link-up on the first and third Fridays of the month, starting with next Friday, July 20th. Let your kids create their own Lego buildings, vehicles, minifigures, etc, etc. Then post about them on your blog and link up to us! Aidan (age almost 9) and I are very excited to visit other blogs and see building ideas created by kids!
Here’s an example – something that Aidan built this week:
This is a combination boat/airplane! Aidan used his fire boat, and added pieces from his castle set as well as basic bricks.
The boat/plane is equipped with a catapult for warding off enemies…
A wheel from the castle carriage made a great steering wheel for the boat! There is a second cockpit on top of the boat with more controls.
