Construction Paper Number Creatures

Here is a fun counting activity for kids – and all you need is construction paper, glue, and googly eyes!

Owen and I used construction paper and googly eyes to make number creatures.  Each creature has a number on its belly, and then Owen glued on that number of eyes.  He made some of the creatures, and I made some.

He had very definite ideas about how they should look!

 We kept giggling at the results!  Owen made this one completely on his own:
