This morning, Gresham was immediately on board when I handed him a stack of post-it notes and a pencil and told him that we were going to do preschool with those! I asked him to go around the house and “label” things with the letters that they start with. To get him started, we labeled “piano” together with a “p.”
This game was a big hit! He kept saying things like, “Wall, Mom! Wa-wa-wa… that’s W!” He also labeled basket, table, picture, crib, wagon,
and Aidan! (And the dog, who was really thrilled with this game…)
And Gresham is hoping that Dad will want an apple after work, because Aidan put his letter “A” in the refrigerator with the apples!
What games do you play to practice letter sounds?
