With some hot glue and googly eyes, you can upgrade your Duple LEGO®’s into a fun monster building set!

DIY Duplo Monsters Building Set

Owen has been learning about the letter M, and we were getting ready to make monsters with construction paper and googly eyes. While I was looking (and looking and looking) through our craft supplies box for the googly eyes, I had the idea to glue the eyes onto Duplo bricks for monsters that could be built and rebuilt!

And while I was looking and looking for the googly eyes, I also came across this set of stickers that I had forgotten we had! My brother gave me these for Christmas a few years ago. They are designed for decorating office supplies or mugs, etc. with funny faces. They were perfect for the Duplo monsters!

They are called Inanimate Office Supply Stickers (Amazon Affiliate link)

Awesome Duplo monster mouths made with the stickers:

It’s possible to peel the stickers back off, but they are very secure and don’t come off unless you want them to.

The boys had so much fun building and rebuilding all sorts of monsters!

We tried removing the googly eyes just to see if they come off or not. I couldn’t get them off, but my husband easily got one off with a table knife. The glue came off as well with no residue. Just fyi… 🙂
