Here’s a fun Thanksgiving activity for energetic kids! Use up some of that holiday excitement with this fun Nerf Turkey Targets game. The turkey targets are available to print at the bottom of the post.

We originally made up this silly game several years ago when my older kids were small. Holiday weeks always seem so crazy with excited and energetic kids, so I’m always looking for active things for them to do!

I wanted to bring back the turkey targets game for the younger kids, and I asked my 15 year old son to draw some turkeys. I requested goofy looking turkeys that were scared of being shot.

Well, when I saw what he drew I laughed out loud!

There are three different turkeys to color and cut out. Besides the turkeys, the only supplies you need are scissors, plastic cups, tape, and colored pencils (or markers or crayons).

After you color and cut out your turkeys, simply tape them to plastic cups.

Kids will have a blast arranging the cups and knocking down the turkeys!

(Which turkey is your favorite? They all make me laugh!)

You may want to have extra cups for stacking. The taller the tower, the more satisfying the crash when it comes down!

My kids have been having so much fun with this! We set up a folding table for stacking up the turkeys. That way the dogs can’t interfere with the game. Well, our younger dog still manages to run off with the cups!

The kids have even been shooting them from the top of the stairs. So much fun! And they’re not fighting or shooting each other, which is a huge WIN.
