Duct tape is such a great crafting material – we have kind of gotten hooked on all the fun prints and colors!  Last weekend, the boys and I decided to do some duct tape crafting to get ready for back to school.

Keeping our home school supplies organized is quite a challenge since we have four boys using the pencils, scissors, and glue.  Jonathan (age 2) is still going to un-do most of our organization on a daily basis, but at least our organization now looks cuter with these fun duct tape pencil cups!

This was such a simple project, and one that all of the boys enjoyed.  Simply cover items from the recycle bin in duct tape!

Tin cans and freebie cups from restaurants work well.

If your cans have sharp edges, be sure to cover the edges completely with duct tape.

SO much fun!

Aidan was thrilled to find Texas Rangers tape from Duck brand.  This Amazon link has other major league baseball teams as well.

We also found some fun Avengers tape (also Duck brand), so watch for that in our upcoming duct tape posts!  I have found that Walmart is the cheapest place to buy duct tape.  We only buy Duck brand as the Scotch brand seems to be inferior quality.  We bought Superman tape from Scotch brand, and it won’t rip in straight lines and wrinkles easily.  Boo.  What’s your favorite duct tape?
