Build Star Wars LEGO® ships – on a mini scale!
The boys have been busy designing these little Star Wars ships, and I think they are pretty cute! We put a clear brick under each one to make a simple stand. Challenge your kids to build some Star Wars ship! They can use these designs, or create their own. We made instructions for the X-Wing, but the rest are fairly simple to figure out from the pictures because all of the bricks used are visible from either the top or the bottom.
ARC 170 Starfighter (from Clone Wars)
This little ship is a simple design.
Here’s a view from the underside.
Step 1: Start with these pieces on the bottom.
Step 2: Add two 1 x 4 gray plates and a 1 x 2 white plate.
Step 3: Attach those pieces with a 2 x 3 white plate. Add a 1 x 1 white plate on top of that. Build the front of the ship.
Step 4: Attach the front of the ship to the body of the ship.
Step 5: Add another layer of wings.
The white pieces are all 1 x 2 plates with one stud on top.
And a view from the underside:
It’s a cute little mini ship!
Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle
Clips make the wings on this ship posable.
Here’s a view of the wing design.
Delta 7 Jedi Interceptor
Here is the underside of this one:
And finally, a mini Star Destroyer
Have fun building! And be sure to stop by the rest of the LEGO week posts on Toddler Approved!
