Here’s a fun LEGO® building project – construct some Ewoks! You can find step-by-step instructions below. These cute Ewoks fit well with the scale of our other Star Wars projects – R2-D2, C3P0, and Yoda.

LEGO Ewoks with Building Instructions

We chose to make tan and brown Ewoks, with lime green and brown for the hood colors. Build them a fire pit and some trees for their forest home. They are so cute, and this project should be very accessible for younger kids since it uses mainly basic bricks.

Ready to build one?

Step 1: We will start with the bottom of the head. Gather the three bricks shown.

Step 2: Attach the bricks from step 1 by adding a 2 x 4 lime green brick, a 2 x 2 lime green brick, and two 1 x 2 brown bricks. In between the two brown bricks, add two 1 x 2 brown plates and a 1 x 2 light brown plate.

Step 3: Add two 2 x 2 brown bricks, two 1 x 1 brown bricks with a stud on the side, a 1 x 2 lime green brick, and a 1 x 4 lime green brick. The 1 x 2 brown plate with one stud on top will attach to the two bricks on the front of the face to make the nose.

Step 5: Add a 1 x 6 brown brick next to the green bricks. Then add a 1 x 1 brown brick with one stud on the side to each side of the face. Add two more 1 x 1 bricks with a stud on the side (we used the headlight type), a 1 x 2 brown brick, and 1 x 1 black round plates as eyes.

Step 6: Add a layer of green plates on top of the head. Then build the ears. Each one is a 1 x 2 brick and two 1 x 1 slopes (30 degree).

Step 7: Place a 1 x 2 lime green slope on both sides of each each. Then add lime green bricks to the middle of the head. Gather the lime green plates shown.

Step 8: Attach the plates to the side of the head to complete the hood.

The body is just made out of basic bricks. Each foot is a 2 x 3 brown plate. We made a spear for the Ewoks to hold by stacking a bunch of round bricks.

Once you have finished one Ewok, try making another one in a different color!
