Today, we spent the morning at an historic local farm! Twice a year, Nash Farm hosts a day of hay wagon rides, pony rides, farming, gardening, goat milking, and historical trades and crafts. I think that today may have been our best time yet!
Nash Farm is a real working farm. No one lives on the property, but the city maintains a large garden. In the fall, they typically have cotton for the kids to harvest!
Aidan and Gresham got to help work in the garden. They planted some Zinnia seeds. We may have to stop back by the farm later and see if they are growing!
Owen loved the goats in the petting zoo. He just wanted to stand next to them with his hand on their backs!
The boys ate vanilla ice cream cones (Blue Bell – a taste of Texas!) while listening to some hometown music. If you look closely, you can see Rachel from Quirky Momma and her daughter! It was fun to run into her family at the farm!
What do you like to do with your family in the spring?

Just so you know, that goat would be a Nigerian Dwarf Goat...come and visit our farm and he can play with them all he wants.
