After a holiday break, we’re back to Lego Fun Fridays on Frugal Fun for Boys!

This coming week, the challenge is to build something from a book. Challenge your kids to build a scene from their favorite book, or even just one of the main characters. Little ones can join in with Duplo. Then come back next Friday and check out our Lego creations from literature and join in our blog hop. If you have a blog, you can link up a post with a kid-generated Lego design or a Lego learning activity. If you do not have a blog, feel free to share a picture of your child’s Lego creation on my Frugal Fun for Boys Facebook page on either Friday or Saturday. My boys love to see what other kids have built!

Here is Aidan’s favorite book scene, and we want to see if anyone can guess what book it is from.

Hint #1: It’s a chapter book.

    I'd guess Robin Hood.

Good guess, but it's not Robin Hood. Thanks for guessing - Aidan was so happy that someone guessed!

Another hint - the same author wrote "The Witch of Blackbird Pond."

The Sign of the Beaver! When Matt and Attean kill the bear in the forest. Wonderful book! :-)

Yes, that's it! I wasn't sure how well known that book is but my son thought it would be fun to have people guess. He's thrilled that you figured it out!

I was going to say Hunger Games...even though I have never read it and I know it isn't small child appropriate...I'm pretty sure it involves arrows. Ha!
