It’s time for LEGO® Fun Friday!

LEGO® Fun Friday is a weekly feature on Frugal Fun for Boys.  Last Friday I announced our building challenge:  Build something from a book.  This week, it’s time to share LEGO® ideas!  Link up your blog post with your children’s LEGO® creations so that we can check them out.  Or, link up any LEGO® post – LEGO® birthday party ides, LEGO® learning activities, etc.

New!  If you don’t have a blog or don’t blog about LEGO®s, feel free to share photos of your children’s LEGO® creations on my Frugal Fun for Boys Facebook page on either Friday or Saturday.  My boys would be thrilled to see other kids participating with them!

Here is what we built this week:

Aidan made this scene from The Sign of the Beaver by Elizabeth George Speare.  It’s the part where Attean and Matt kill the bear.  Congrats to Sundae who guessed this scene correctly in last Friday’s LEGO® post!

Lego Challenge: Build Something from a Book

Gresham built this battle scene from Prince Caspian.  He hasn’t read the full book by C.S. Lewis – just a short version from Chick-fil-a. That little book has been well loved by all the boys for its exciting characters and pictures.

Lego Challenge: Build Something from a Book

Owen wanted to build something from Go Dog, Go!  That has been one of his favorite books since he was about 18 months old.  He wanted to make the part at the end of the book where a dog is inside a cannon at their dog party at the top of the tree.

Lego Challenge: Build Something from a Book

Aidan helped him make this tree out of Duplos.  They used the mixer part of our cement mixer for the cannon.

Now it’s your turn!  Link up your kid-generated LEGO® designs or LEGO® learning activities.  Or, post your photos to Facebook.

***Edited to Add:  Mr. Linky seems to be struggling today, and my linky disappeared.  Their site it down so I can’t get it back!
