It’s time for LEGO® Fun Friday!

LEGO® Fun Friday is a blog hop for kid-generated LEGO® designs and LEGO® learning activities.  Join us on the first and third Fridays of each month!

This week, Aidan made a Lego robot.  He named him “Everman” because “he lives forever.”

I liked the pieces he chose for the feet of the robot!  The things on his head are laser guns (of course we had to have guns in there somewhere…) and an antenna.

Aidan built an “E” into his leg for “Everman.”

Did you know that LEGO® is 80 years old?  The Danish company started with wooden toys.  Their commitment to excellence resulted in the development of a product that has stood the test of time!  This video tells the story of the LEGO® company and how the LEGO® idea came to be.

Now it’s your turn!  Link up your child’s LEGO® design or a LEGO® learning activity!

I can't believe someone hadn't started a Lego link up sooner...the possibilities are endless!

My kids are 4 and 5 and just getting into Legos. That video was so interesting!

Just beginning to follow your Lego Fridays. My son enjoys Legos, but always wants them to look just like the picture on the side of the box. This frustrates me because I'd like him to be more creative with them. I need to find a way to honor his need for order with my desire to have him think outside the box (literally!)

Danielle, I've been thinking of adding a building challenge for each Lego Fun Friday - a suggestion of what to build for next time. I thought this might spark some inspiration with kids. Would something like that interest you? (And I would still welcome any type of Lego post as a linky!)
