Last week the two oldest boys went to VBS, leaving me with time with just the younger three. While Jonathan and Janie were napping, Owen and I decided to do a craft together. It was a great time to get out my friends’ Rachel and Holly’s new book 101 Kids Activities that are the Bestest, Funnest Ever (Amazon affiliate link). Owen looked through the book and announced that he wanted to make craft stick people!
We had so much fun using Sharpies to draw people! Owen is 5, and he just loved this project.
The finished people would make great bookmarks or characters for an imaginative game. Owen sat down and played with all of his!
If you have kids from toddlers up through elementary school, I would highly recommend 101 Kids Activities that are the Bestest, Funnest Ever!
What we love about 101 Kids Activities:
- The activities are engaging yet simple enough that kids can look through the book and find something to do on their own.
- I like how the book is divided into four sections – boredom busters, crafts, games, and simple science.
- Each activity has suggested modifications for younger and older kids, so the ideas can fit a wide audience.
- This book is very visually appealing and would make a great gift!
