January 1, 2024 LEGO New Releases

We’ve compiled our favorites from the January 1st LEGO New Releases! This is a large release, although the sets seem to be focused on mainly City, Classic, and Creator. The next release (March 1st) will have a lot of Harry Potter and other themes.

New Releases in LEGO City

This was definitely a big release for City sets with TONS of new options! The sets below are our favorites out of the new releases, but I didn’t list everything.

We are pretty excited about the LEGO City Police Prison Island. A very creative idea for a set.

The LEGO City Police Speedboat and Crooks’ Hideout also looks very fun. The hideout part has some clever moving elements!

There are several awesome new space sets. The LEGO City Interstellar Spaceship is a cool looking ship, and at $19.99, it’s a great birthday gift idea or a set that kids can save up for on their own.

The LEGO City Spaceship and Asteroid Discovery is another great $19.99 set.

The LEGO City Space Base and Rocket Launch Pad has a ton of fun elements! I love the launch pad.

My kids all love the new LEGO City Burger Truck. Adorable!

The LEGO City Blue Monster Truck is also a lot of fun. Another great smaller set.

New Releases in LEGO Classic and Creator

We will DEFINITELY be buying the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Retro Camera! Soooo awesome.

The LEGO Creator Exotic Peacock is also impressive and a great price at $19.99. This one is not available on Amazon yet, but here’s a link to the LEGO site.

One of my sons really wants the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Space Astronaut. It’s definitely cool!

We are also loving the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Red Dragon. Only $9.99, and it’s adorable. It also makes a fish and a phoenix.

The LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Flatbed Truck has a helicopter in the bed! So cool. This one actually builds 4 other vehicles as well – two sets of two.

New Releases in LEGO Star Wars, Jurassic World

There are only two new releases in Star Wars and Jurassic World, and none for Harry Potter. The March 1st releases will contain MUCH more from these themes!

The new LEGO Jurassic World Baby Dinosaur Rescue Center is super cute! We are loving these baby dinosaurs. This is an age 4+ set.

There is a new LEGO Star Wars Clone Troopers and Battle Droid Battle Pack that looks good!

New Releases in LEGO Classic

The LEGO Classic Creative Vehicles set would be a great staple set for any home or classroom! Tons of wheels and pieces for building small vehicles.

I am also loving the new LEGO Classic Creative Houses. Lots of windows, doors, and roof pieces.

The LEGO Classic Creative Pets comes with some fun eyes and other pieces for building cute animals.
