Well, this past week I’ve been working hard on something I’ve wanted to do for awhile. I consolidated all (well, most) of the Christmas LEGO® projects that we’ve designed over the years into an ebook full of building instructions! I also added a new project – a minifigure-sized sleigh for Santa and an adorable reindeer to pull it.
In this book, you’ll find two ways to explore all of our Christmas projects. The first is links to each of the posts with Christmas projects. The second is the ebook that is available for purchase. The benefit of the ebook is that kids can flip through the pages either on a tablet or in print form without ads or having to click around on the website. Pick the option that best suits you!
If you prefer to use the e-book in print form, print it out and stick the pages in a 3-ring binder! I suggest plastic page protectors for durability.
In the e-book you’ll get instructions for:
- Mini Nativity
- Candy Cane Express Train Ornament
- Cube Ornament
- Snowflake Ornament
- Nativity Set
- Christmas Tree Ornament
- Rudolph Ornament
- Nutcracker Ornament
- Stocking Ornament
- Sleigh and Reindeer for the Santa Minifigure
This will keep the kids busy during the holiday vacation! They’ll have a blast following the instructions, and will likely be inspired to design their own Christmas LEGO® creations.
The instructions are the same format as my print LEGO® books.
Here’s another example.
Keep in mind that the instructions in the e-book can also be found throughout multiple posts on my website, with the exception of the sleigh and reindeer, which are only in the e-book.
The photos in the e-book file are 300 dpi for best printing quality. You’ll want to use a decent quality of paper for best printing results. Even so, the photos are truly the easiest to view on a screen. I’d recommend using the book on a tablet, but the print version might be best for classroom or library use, or if you don’t have a tablet (we don’t!).
