Part of having a toddler is training them not to get into food in the pantry. Aidan and Gresham both went through a phase of helping themselves to cereal, crackers, etc. It seemed like such an inconvenience at the time, but when Owen bypassed that stage (because he hates to eat), it actually made me sad!

Last night while I was making dinner, Owen found the box of Cheerios in the pantry and started feeding himself a snack! Since he is usually not interested in snacks (other than things like paper, diaper cream, and soap), this was a happy moment!

Hmmm, a little snack for me!

Yum! (Puppy is pretty sure there is going to be some dropped for him to eat)

Brother, these are good! Do you want some?

Here you go!

This was so adorable. I can relate to your posts on Owen eating everything but food. We went through that with our first! He still sits and eats paper as often as he eats snacks! I don't get it.
