Here’s a fun winter activity for kids! Grab some paper and something to draw with and play this super fun snowman drawing game.

It’s always great when you find a boredom buster that’s a lot of fun and also doesn’t require a trip to the craft store.

If you’ve ever played the Cootie game, this is very similar. Kids will “build” a snowman by rolling a die and then drawing that part of their snowman.

Supplies Needed:

  • Drawing paper – we used half sheets
  • Dice – just one is fine
  • Drawing utensils – colored pencils, crayons, or makers

How to Play:

To take your turn, roll the dice. You must roll a 5 in order to start drawing. So the first few turns might involve rolling the dice with no progress.

Once you have rolled a 5 and drawn your snowman’s body, you can add to your snowman in any order.

Kids can get creative with this! The snowman’s arms, hat, gloves, and face do not need to look exactly what’s pictured on the game page. Draw a hat with any design!

Thank you very much! Planning on doing these with my grandson tomorrow. He's 9 and comes here once a week to have a "Grandma homeschool day". :)
