Follow along with the 2026 winter games in Milan and Cortina, Italy with this FREE printable activity pack!

Keep track of the medal counts for different countries, research your favorite athlete, do a crossword puzzle, learn Olympic trivia, and more!

I don’t know about you, but we LOVE watching the Olympic Games. My two middle schoolers quickly discovered new favorite athletes, and they’ve been having a blast watching alpine skiing, speed skating, and all the other events.

I would recommend these activities for ages 5 – 10, or so.

Here’s what is included in this FREE printable pack:

  • Winter Games Trivia
  • All About My Country – record information about your country participating in the games
  • Country of the World Report – learn about another country and record the information you find
  • Test Your Athletic Skills – this goes with the summer games, but I included it in this pack because it’s a fun hands-on activity! It’s harder to “try out” alpine skiing, etc.
  • Medal Count – two pages to either track total medals, or break it down by gold/silver/bronze
  • All About My Favorite Athlete Report – research your favorite winter games participant
  • Crossword Puzzle – two pages with two difficulty levels
  • Color the Athletes Page
  • World Map with countries labeled

Helpful Tip: The Olympic website has bios of many athletes which kids can use for the athlete report! You can see that page here.

For the medal count, choose 5 countries that you want to follow. Or print more than one of this page if you want to record more countries!

Use these activities at home or in the classroom.
