Duct Tape No-Sew Beanbags

Although we’ve tried sewing before, we were happy to get this idea for duct tape bean bags from a college friend of mine!  All you need to make them is fabric, duct tape, and dried beans, and they are much faster to make since you don’t have to sew!

We used some fabric left over from various projects, and also scraps cut from jeans with holes in them – which we have in abundance!

They turned out very manly, I’d say!  I made the denim one first, and decided that the duct tape was a little too wide.  I made the strips more narrow for the other two.  We used dried pinto beans, and I would definitely recommend using a smaller bean.  These bean bags pack quite a punch!

There are SO many things that you can do with bean bags!  You can do relays with your kids balancing the bean bags on their heads, tossing games, through them at an alphabet letter, etc.  We decided to make a target on the floor with masking tape.

This was a great craft for us because we only needed items that we already had on hand.  Find more frugal tips at Frugal Friday!
