Lego Christmas Projects with Building Instructions
Here are some Lego Christmas projects to build – instructions included! Hopefully the builders at your house will have these pieces or something similar on hand. Or maybe these projects will inspire them to design their own!
Project #1: Gifts
Okay, so we don’t have instructions for this one. But it’s pretty simple – build some gifts! I tried to get the boys to build a Lego tree to go with them, but they didn’t want to. Oh well, you can check out the tree in our DIY Lego Advent calendar post for some inspiration. 🙂
Project #2: Reindeer Ornament
Here are the pieces you need to build the reindeer ornament:
Put together the head as shown below. We used red ribbon to hang the ornament.
Then flip it over and add the eyes, nose, and antlers!
Project #3: Snowman
Since the snowman requires several steps, I decided to put the instructions for this one in a separate post. That way, people who don’t want to build this one don’t have to scroll and scroll! You can find the snowman instructions here.
Project #4: Nativity Ornament
This one is my favorite! Aidan and I found this Lego nativity on Pinterest and modified it.
Here are the pieces you need to build the stable:
Step 2: The black bricks in this step have extra studs on two sides.
Here’s how we built the people. Mary and Joseph, three wise men, one shepherd, and the white thing is a sheep. 🙂
Add ribbon to hang it on the tree, or just display like this!
Project #5: Wreath Ornament
Aidan built this simple wreath out of elbow shaped pieces. (I don’t know how we accumulated so many of these? Maybe the Toy Story Army Guy sets we own?) You can hang it on the tree as is, or add a ribbon for hanging.
Update: We added five new Christmas projects which you can find here – Five (more!) LEGO Christmas Projects
