Make Star Wars Nerf Targets, painted rocks, tin can lanterns, Star Wars paper crafts, LEGO projects, and more. One of our absolute favorites is the garden-in-a-tub for Star Wars pretend play.

STAR WARS CRAFTS AND PLAY IDEAS

Make a Pool Noodle Light Saber.  Kids of all ages will love these, and they can duel with no damage to the house, or each other! These make great birthday party favors too.

Star Wars Nerf Games – Star Wars and Nerf, what a great combination! Use simple supplies to create your own Star Wars themed Nerf targets.

Star Wars Play Dough – Awesome for imaginative play!

Star Wars Perler Bead Patterns.  We love Perler beads!  These are those tiny plastic beads that fuse together when you iron them. They provide awesome fine motor practice for ages 5+, and my kids love the finished product. They were kind of addicted over the summer.

If you have kids that like painting rocks, then you HAVE to check out these super fun Star Wars Painted Rocks! SOOOOO cool.

Star Wars Paper Crafts.  Print the templates for tons of cube shaped Star Wars characters! Great projects for kids around age 8+.

Star Wars Tin Can Lanterns.  So easy to make, and fun for any time of the year!

Make a Duct Tape Mandalorian Jetpack – For pretend play, but it would be great as part of a costume, too!

Make an X-Wing from Office Supplies.  You probably already have the supplies you need for this project!  Dad will want to get in on this one too.

LEGO Star Wars Planet Worlds.  It’s SO fun to create scenes with real sand, plants, rocks, and more. My kids have spent HOURS with this.

STAR WARS LEGO PROJECTS

There are so many Star Wars sets available, but kids will also enjoy building their own projects with the loose bricks they have.

STAR WARS LEARNING ACTIVITIES

For younger kids – make a Star Wars Planet Book.  This has been one of our favorite projects ever!  We used shaving cream marbling for some of the planets, which is such a fun art process. You can add some writing practice by adding a label (or even a few sentences) about each planet.

Star Wars Writing Prompts – Print these 16 writing prompts for kids age 8-11.  Several of them would work for younger kids as well!  Story starters, persuasive writing, descriptive writing, and more.
